For our client, an innovative accountancy and advisory organisation in the Netherlands, we are looking for a BI Specialist who turns complex data into clear reports, dashboards and actionable insights.
Our client is an innovative and client-focused accountancy and advisory organisation with multiple offices across the Netherlands. The IT and functional management team values commitment, expertise and the continuous improvement of the IT landscape. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a BI Specialist with a passion for data.
Your role:
As a Business Intelligence Specialist you are responsible for developing and implementing BI solutions that deliver valuable insights and analyses for clients and internal processes. You work closely with different departments to collect and analyse data and turn it into strategic information.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI
- Analyse complex datasets and translate findings into clear and usable insights
- Implement data warehouse solutions and improve data quality and data integrity
- Advise and support business units, the IT department and data owners on the use, analysis and reporting of data
- Identify and initiate improvements in data quality, data management and data innovation, taking a leading role and bringing the team along
- Participate in data-related projects and working groups, such as data integration, data migration, data warehousing and business intelligence
What you bring:
- A completed bachelor or master degree in a relevant field, such as information science, business administration, econometrics or data science
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience in a similar position or another data-related role
- Affinity with, or the ambition to work in, the accountancy sector
- Knowledge of and experience with data quality, data governance, data analysis, data modelling and data visualisation
- Solid knowledge of SQL, Python and Power BI
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, result-driven and client-focused team player
