Analyse business processes and build web applications on a low-code knowledge platform for government and financial services clients. Hybrid, Noord-Brabant and client sites in the Randstad. Dutch at C1 level required.

A software company in knowledge automation is looking for a medior Business Engineer. Its clients are banks, insurers and government bodies. You work between the business and IT: you analyse processes, model the knowledge behind them and build web applications on the company's own low-code platform. This is not a full-time coding job. You work in a team with clients and colleagues, from home, from the office in Noord-Brabant and on site at clients, mostly in the Randstad. Fully remote is not possible. 32 to 40 hours a week, part-time is negotiable. Dutch at C1 level is required. What you will do: - Analyse complex processes and map the knowledge they rely on - Translate client needs into solutions on the low-code platform - Design, model, build, adjust and test applications - Improve client products and processes together with the team What you bring: - At least 3 years of relevant experience - Dutch at C1 level or higher - A bachelor's or master's degree in business informatics, artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering or a related field, or another degree with a strong affinity for IT and problem solving, or equivalent experience in application development - Strong analytical and abstract thinking, and a taste for logic and puzzles - A constructive-critical attitude: you ask further, point out contradictions and gaps, and propose improvements - Clear verbal communication - Initiative, adaptability, a focus on quality and a drive to learn - Willingness to travel to client sites a few days a week - Nice to have: software engineering, design patterns, object-oriented design, ERD or process modelling What you get: - A permanent contract - An extensive training programme - Hybrid work, part-time and flexible hours possible - A good salary, pension scheme, lease car or public transport and mobility scheme, laptop, phone allowance, result bonus and training budget - A flat, open organisation with an informal atmosphere
