For our client, an IT services organisation in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer who turns raw data into reliable insights.

Our client, an IT services organisation in the Netherlands, is growing and needs stronger data foundations. As Business Intelligence Engineer you own the full BI chain: from source systems and ETL processes to the data warehouse and the dashboards that end users work with every day. You work closely with analysts, developers and business stakeholders, and you get the freedom to improve the data landscape where you see opportunities. What you will do: - Design, build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines from various source systems - Develop and extend data models in the data warehouse (star schemas, data marts) - Build clear, reliable dashboards and reports in tools such as Power BI or Tableau - Safeguard data quality, performance and documentation of the BI environment - Translate business questions from stakeholders into concrete data solutions - Contribute to the further automation and modernisation of the data platform What you bring: - A completed bachelor or master degree, preferably in computer science, econometrics or a related field - At least 3 years of experience in a BI or data engineering role - Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts - Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik - Experience with ETL tooling or scripting in Python is a strong plus - Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP is an advantage - Good command of Dutch and English What is offered: - A permanent position with room to grow into a senior or lead role - A competitive salary that matches your knowledge and experience - Hybrid working with flexible hours - A personal training budget and time for professional development - 25 or more vacation days and a solid pension scheme - An informal team of data professionals who enjoy sharing knowledge Interested?
