As data architect, you design Azure data platforms for clients of a consultancy specialized in data and cloud architecture.
This consultancy helps clients across many sectors build data platforms in the cloud. As data architect, you contribute from the first strategy session all the way to a scalable platform. You bridge business and technology and give direction to the work of data engineers.
What you will do:
- You design reference architectures and solution blueprints for clients.
- You advise on setting up data platforms in Azure.
- You safeguard security, governance and compliance in your designs.
- You guide data engineers building the platform.
- You advise clients and fellow architects on technical choices.
What you bring:
- At least 4 years of experience as a data architect.
- A completed university degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Databricks or Synapse.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF or DMBOK is a plus.
- You communicate easily with technical and non technical stakeholders.
