For our client, a technology consultancy in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Data Engineer who builds scalable, reliable cloud-based data solutions and platforms for leading organisations.

As a Data Engineer you have a passion for building scalable and reliable cloud-based data solutions and platforms. In your work you constantly balance pragmatism and quality. You are not someone who simply processes work packages: you are a builder and a team player. You know how to translate business requirements into practical features and you can explain the benefits of the cloud to both business stakeholders and technical colleagues. What you will do: - You work in agile projects at leading clients - You are responsible for building and developing scalable data and cloud solutions - You translate business requirements into working features - You collaborate with a variety of stakeholders You have excellent programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, Golang or Scala. You know what is and is not sensible about OO design patterns and functional programming. You have experience building and scripting cloud platforms, you can develop scalable, high-performance solutions in the cloud, and you have experience developing and configuring CI/CD pipelines. You are familiar with containers, Docker, Kubernetes and the related techniques and tools. Not ticking every box? Our client believes that with the right motivation you can pick things up quickly.
