Our client is a consultancy in the south of the Netherlands that specialises in data engineering, data science, business intelligence and artificial intelligence. For their growing engineering team they are looking for a driven Data Engineer who enjoys technical challenges and knows how to make data available to organisations in a smart and secure way. What you will do: - Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Design, build and maintain scalable ETL and ELT processes - Model data warehouses, for example using the Kimball methodology and the Medallion architecture - Safeguard data quality, performance and security on the data platform - Manage and continuously improve the Azure-based data platform - Keep up with new technologies and share your knowledge within the data engineering team What you bring: - A completed degree at bachelor or master level - At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer - Solid experience with ETL, SQL, PySpark, SparkSQL, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric - Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server and Azure DevOps - Familiarity with Power BI is a plus - Knowledge of the healthcare sector is an advantage - Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English What is offered: - A challenging role in an innovative and dynamic environment - Room for professional growth and development - Projects with real social impact, particularly in healthcare - A full-time position of 32 to 40 hours per week Interested?
