For our client, a growing consultancy organisation in the Netherlands, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect who advises boards and management of leading organisations on future-proof IT and digital transformation.
About the role:
IT is a decisive factor in achieving strategic goals. In areas such as digital transformation, digitalisation and getting the basics in order, IT can truly make the difference. As an architect you are constantly working on how IT can contribute optimally to realising business strategy. In your role as expert and advisor you take part in a variety of short advisory projects in which architecture plays a crucial part in delivering sound advice. You help executives, board members, CIO's and management of leading organisations with questions such as whether their IT is future-proof, or whether a given IT investment is the right one at the right moment. You guide them with an inspiring view on current technologies and future developments in digitalisation.
What you will do:
- Act as enterprise, programme or project architect at client organisations, where you set the technical course.
- Work on prestigious projects and programmes with societal impact, for example in healthcare, public safety, construction and government.
- Develop architecture for complex transitions, such as separating IT landscapes, designing collaboration chains between organisations and modernising digital workplaces.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams and integrate all required disciplines.
- Share knowledge actively within a growing architecture expertise group with roles at junior, medior and senior level.
Who you are:
- Someone with passion and drive to develop in the domain of IT strategy and architecture and to become an expert in the field.
- A strong communicator who presents well to stakeholders at all levels.
- A colleague who enjoys working with others and is willing to share knowledge.
- Senior level: you enjoy being challenged by multidisciplinary strategic questions involving many stakeholders, and you have the commercial affinity to win advisory work through content, relationship management and networking.
What we ask:
- A Master degree in computer science, systems engineering and policy analysis, business administration or Business and IT.
- Medior: at least 3 years of work experience as a solution architect, technical project lead on IT projects, information advisor or a comparable role, with the ambition to grow further.
- Medior: a well-founded view on IT and enterprise architecture, plus the ability to understand a client's business thoroughly and translate organisational needs into fitting IT solutions.
- Senior: work experience as an enterprise architect at a consultancy, IT services provider or large corporate, and proven experience developing business, information, application and IT architecture.
What is offered:
- A competitive salary and excellent secondary benefits, including performance-based reward, mobility arrangements, pension and leave.
- Genuine attention to personal development, including coaching by colleagues, a broad range of courses and a personal development plan with matching investment.
- A place within a challenging and growing organisation where taking personal responsibility is valued and where you have the autonomy and freedom to organise your work flexibly, with short communication lines.
- A pleasant working environment with an easily accessible office, a focus on team performance and plenty of social activities.
