For our client, a software development organisation with more than 20 years of experience, we are looking for an experienced Java Developer who wants to work on innovative projects with the latest technology.

Our client is a software development organisation that has been building people, software and projects for more than 20 years. The company works on innovative projects for interesting clients and also runs in-house development projects. The organisation is compact, with short and direct lines to clients and colleagues, resulting in long-term, close cooperation. As a Java Developer you will work on varied and challenging assignments. You are primarily a backend developer, but you do not shy away from the frontend either. You will work in Scrum teams, apply DevOps practices and use modern frameworks to build applications used by large numbers of users. What you will do: - Develop high-quality Java applications for a variety of clients and in-house projects - Work in Scrum teams and contribute to a DevOps way of working - Work with the latest technology and a range of modern frameworks - Broaden, deepen and share your knowledge with colleagues - Pick up frontend work alongside your backend focus when needed What we ask: - A completed degree at bachelor or master level - At least 5 years of experience developing applications with large user bases - Solid experience with Java and various frameworks - Experience working in Scrum teams; familiarity with DevOps is a plus - A backend focus combined with a willingness to work on the frontend - A passion for your craft and a drive to keep learning and to share knowledge What is offered: - A position of 32 to 40 hours per week on appealing projects - Room to broaden and deepen your knowledge together with colleagues - Conferences, meetups, game sessions and workshops, including cooking workshops - Variety in your work, interesting assignments and the latest technology - Assignments and clients within reasonable travel distance - Flexible employment conditions, tailored to fit you now and in the future
