For our client, a growing organisation in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Junior Finance Accountant who wants to build a solid foundation in accounting while working closely with an experienced finance team.

Our client is a growing organisation in the Netherlands with an ambitious finance department. As Junior Finance Accountant you support the day-to-day financial administration and grow step by step towards full responsibility for parts of the accounting cycle. You work closely with experienced colleagues who help you develop, and you get the room to take ownership early on. What you will do: - Process incoming and outgoing invoices and bank statements - Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process - Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries - Support VAT returns and other periodic tax filings - Help improve and automate administrative processes - Act as a point of contact for internal questions about the administration What you bring: - A completed education in finance, accountancy or business economics (mbo+ or hbo level) - Zero to two years of relevant work experience, for example through an internship or part-time role - Good knowledge of Excel and an interest in financial systems - An accurate and structured way of working - Good command of Dutch and English - An eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude What our client offers: - A competitive salary that matches your experience - A permanent contract with room to grow towards a medior role - A personal development budget and support for further study - Hybrid working and flexible hours - 25 vacation days and a solid pension plan - An informal team where questions are welcomed and knowledge is shared Interested?
