As lead data engineer, you build and improve data pipelines for clients of an advisory firm in finance and business intelligence.
This advisory firm helps clients with financial data and business intelligence. As lead data engineer, you take the lead in building robust data pipelines and make sure data stays reliable and on time. You combine technical leadership with hands on work across projects for different clients.
What you will do:
- You design and build data pipelines for reporting and analysis.
- You guide a small team of data engineers on scope and planning.
- You monitor data quality and the performance of existing pipelines.
- You advise clients on the setup of their data platform.
- You help the team choose the right tools and architecture.
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of experience as a data engineer, part of it in a leading role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and a modern cloud data platform.
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar.
- You communicate clearly with both technical and business people.
