A small, flat test consultancy in Noord-Brabant is looking for a Medior Test Engineer. It improves the software quality of large clients, from unit tests to cloud testing. Assignments include a high-tech machine builder, a large insurer and a grid operator. The position is for 32 to 40 hours per week, on site, at the office or from home. As a medior you cover the full breadth of testing and grow into test automation with coaching from experienced colleagues.
What you will do:
- You test new, complex software: manual, performance and mobile.
- You help implement test automation.
- You advise the client on the best route to quality.
- You weigh in on requirements and user stories and align with engineers, developers and administrators.
- You share knowledge and spar with colleagues in the team.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's level.
- At least 3 years of experience in testing or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of current test techniques and tools.
- Affinity with test automation or CI/CD.
