An IT consultancy in Amsterdam is looking for a senior Java engineer. The company builds software for clients in different sectors. You work in project teams and take technical ownership of the applications you build.
What you will do:
- Design and build back end applications in Java
- Work on APIs, integrations and microservices
- Review code and mentor less experienced colleagues
- Contribute to architecture and technical decisions within the project team
- Work directly with clients on requirements and priorities
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Java developer
- Strong knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in a consultancy setting is a plus
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English
