A small, flat test consultancy in Noord-Brabant is looking for a Test Architect. It improves the software quality of large clients, from unit tests to cloud testing. Core: test strategy, test automation, non-functional testing, model based testing, product risk analysis and CI/CD. The position is for 32 to 40 hours per week, on site, at the office or from home. A senior role with real influence on process and team.
What you will do:
- You optimise the test process so quality, budget and time-to-market stay in balance.
- You design and implement a test strategy that fits the client's business continuity.
- You advise how test automation supports it, aiming for short feedback cycles.
- You implement it with the test engineers.
- You train and coach test engineers in best practices.
- You give stakeholders continuous, reliable insight into product quality.
- You build awareness of the value of testing.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's level.
- At least 5 years as a test engineer, plus test architect experience.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing, such as performance and usability tests.
- Experience with agile and CI/CD.
- Current techniques and tools, and a well-founded view on testing and automation.
- You make complex matters clear and convince stakeholders.
