For our client, an informal and professional IT services organisation in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer. In this role you are the expert in test automation in the broadest sense of the word. You help clients set up and advance test automation frameworks, advise on the choice of tooling and contribute from your field of expertise to the automated delivery of software. You enjoy trying out new test automation tools and sharing that knowledge with your colleagues. What you will do: - Set up and further develop test automation frameworks within client environments - Advise clients on test strategy and the selection of suitable tools - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support the automated delivery of software - Explore new test automation tools and share your knowledge with colleagues - Work closely with developers, testers and other specialists in agile teams What we ask: - A bachelor level of education and thinking, preferably in a technical field - Several years of experience with test automation, for example with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Robot Framework - Experience with programming or scripting, for example in Java, C# or Python - Knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps is a plus - Relevant software testing certifications are a plus - Strong communication skills and a proactive, advisory attitude - Good command of both Dutch and English What is offered: - A close-knit, informal organisation where craftsmanship and a focus on results are central - Plenty of room to take initiative and carry responsibility - Support for your development through courses, training days and knowledge sessions - Regular knowledge evenings, drinks and team outings with colleagues - Challenging assignments at a variety of clients - Excellent employment conditions in line with your experience
