A small, informal IT services firm is looking for a Test Automation Engineer at medior to senior level. You work on long-running assignments at clients across the Netherlands, so you get to know an environment properly and leave lasting results. Hybrid: partly at the client, partly from home. Permanent contract from day one, market-rate salary.
What you will do:
- Set up and further develop test automation frameworks at clients
- Advise on the choice of test tools and how they fit into the delivery pipeline
- Contribute to automated software delivery through CI/CD
- Try out new test automation tools and assess whether they are worth adopting
- Share knowledge with colleagues and improve the test process step by step
What you bring:
- A completed bachelor's or master's degree
- At least 3 years of experience as a tester, preferably including 1 year in test automation
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps ways of working and experience with CI/CD
- ISTQB or TMAP certification, or the willingness to obtain it
- Programming skills, or the ambition to build them quickly
- Clear communication and a taste for teamwork
